Job Preparation Skills Workshop / Grades 8-13

Any young German professional who can confidently transition to English in a job interview, school presentation or public speaking scenario will showcase that they have the required attributes to be successful. This workshop cultivates real-world skills through intense role-playing practice with native English-speaking actors and instructors in situations including job, internship and college admission interviews.

How it works

The English Job Preparation Skills Workshop takes place over the course of 2-3 days with 6 x 45-minute lessons per day. Working with our team of actors and Native Speakers students will have the chance to practice presenting, interviewing and speaking in mock-situations. Our instructors will then provide feedback and coaching on students presentation skills including their use of vocabulary, articulation, pronunciation, body language, and overall presentation skills.

Students will leave the workshop with concrete things to work on and exercises and practical tools for them to continue to improve. They will also learn about the cultural norms for these types of situations in the instructor’s homes country.
