From Page to Stage / Professional Development (adults)

€25.00

This workshop is based on an adaptation of script analysis for actors, which has been developed for use in the EFL classroom. Participating teachers will learn a feedback method to better direct their students in roleplays and/or live performance. This approach is especially useful in aiding students in the interpretation and performance of classical and contemporary literature. The workshop provides a simple and effective method which can be used by students and teachers to identify, interpret and perform dramatic moments. Through this playful embodiment of characters living in dramatic situations students develop a stronger connection to the written word. Simultaneously a performative approach allows for the development of empathy for a variety of characters and situations - even when these are very different from students' personal experiences.

How it Works
