English Culture Day / Grades 1-13
Our English Culture Day transforms the school into an English speaking country for the day. Our team of Native Speakers work with students in a series of workshops. The classes travel between rooms working with a new instructor in each lesson. The workshops on offer include music, dance, theater, language games, art, storytelling, animation and more.
Over the course of this one special day students will rotate through up to five workshops. The curriculum is differentiated for each grade level allowing for different English levels, while also providing a new experience for students who repeat the program the following year. The English project is ideal for large groups or entire schools. With an event character and a lot of international energy the English Culture Day is an exciting option for schools looking to provide a special language and cultural activity for students.

How it works
In the English Culture Day students in grades 3-13 participate in 5 x 45 minute lessons. Grades 1 + 2 are offered 4 x 45 minute blocks. Schools are provided with a detailed schedule in advance of the project with rooms assigned for each activity. Class teachers will accompany their students between activities. For older students the program is also sometimes offered in 90 minute blocks. The English Culture Day is ideal for groups of five or more classes, because this allows students to meet a new instructor in every workshop but smaller groups are possible. The program is regularly offered to entire Elementary schools*. We can normally accommodate up to 400+ students per day.
(*Due to the costs of travel and accommodation for large teams. This program is generally recommended for schools in Berlin and Brandenburg. If you’re interested but located in another state please contact us.)
