Hello Teaching Artists,
We are actively recruiting Native English speakers who want to teach fun and engaging activities for kids & teens in our in-school programs, class trips and holiday camps. We currently work in over 200 schools and hostels across Germany with programs running year round.
Our programs and curriculum focus on creativity, games and cultural exchange. We do not teach English in a traditional way, but rather through project-oriented learning and activities which motivate students to speak English while having fun and working on a creative or artistic project.
Our team is a colourful international cast of characters with a huge range of skills and interests. Many are artists or individuals with unique hobbies or skills that they want to share with young people.
Working with InterACT is a great chance to meet new people and travel throughout Germany, while making a meaningful impact on countless young people.
Your profile
You live in Germany, have a Freelance Tax number and an EU bank account.
You are a Native English speaker..
You love to work with kids and enjoy making great learning experiences.
You are available to be away from your home for a week, 1 - 2 times per month.
Preferably, you have previous experience instructing or teaching children
You live in Germany and have a valid work visa that allows you to work as a FREELANCER and write invoices.
You have a police background check or are willing to obtain one.
Training and Requirements
We will provide training both online and in-person.
We will pay for or provide CPR Training (a first aid-certification is required only for our holiday camps, but not our in-school programs).
You are required to hold proof of your vaccination or immunity against Measles (if you don't have this we can help you to get it).

What kind of work is this?
This is a FREELANCE TEACHING position for week-long projects all across Germany.
We will offer you work which you are free to accept or decline.
You will invoice us after completion of this work.
Where are many of InterACT's programs?
Our projects are spread across Germany and other countries as well. But our team travels from locations across the country to get there.
